ISO 9001 required for installation and maintenance companies. Deadline, June 2018.

On 12 June, Royal Decree 513/2017 of 22 May was published, approving the Regulation on fire protection facilities.

It requires fire protection installation and maintenance companies to have a certified quality management system, based on ISO 9001. Establishes a period of one year to demonstrate compliance with this requirement.

If you are a fire protection facilities installation or maintenance company do not expect more. You have time until June 2018 to implant and certify your quality management system. That will allow you to continue working.
